HANDMADE CHRISTMAS MARKET KETTERING
Dean will be hosting our Magnolia the Florist stall at the Handmade Christmas Market in Kettering on Sunday 1st of December!
Supporting a local community interest company Johnny’s Happy Place, the Handmade Christmas Market will be located in The William Knibb Centre on Montague Street in Kettering. The Handmade Christmas Market is open from 12pm-4pm on December 1st 2019, with a small £1 entry fee (kids go free).
On the day there will be festive food, mulled wine, live music, stalls with local traders selling gifts and handmade crafts. For the children there will be entertainment such as face painting and rumour has it Father Christmas may make a special guest appearance!
Pop by our Magnolia the Florist stand on the day and say hello to our founder and Creative Director, Dean. Dean will have a gorgeous selection of goodies for sale including our famous festive door wreaths, mini Christmas trees and pot plants, Christmas decorations and ornaments, seasonal succulents and gift cards.
Magnolia the Florist is proud to support Johnny’s Happy Place, who offer a marvellous range of services to support our Kettering and surrounding Northamptonshire community. Come and join us on Sunday 1st of December to show your support for such a postive cause, and enjoy an afternoon of festive fun and shopping.
ABOUT JOHNNY’S HAPPY PLACE
Johnny’s Happy Place is a weekend café and meeting place which was opened in Summer 2015 by family and friends to honour Johnny, whom they lost in October 2014.
With the help of volunteers, kind donations and fundraising events, they run Johnny’s Happy Place café at 97 Rockingham Road in Kettering. The cafe is open at weekends, with the aim to give a safe and happy environment for everyone to enjoy, but especially for people in Northamptonshire suffering with mental health.
Johnny's Happy Place offer a range of community services including:
- Free drop in counselling between around 11am-2pm on Saturdays
- Free art workshops with a qualified therapist and professional artist run 12-2pm on Saturdays.
- Pay what you can afford hairdresser most Saturday afternoons
- Free tea and coffee
- Homemade, low cost meals
- Book swap area
- Regular fundraising events
