A perfectly romantic summer wedding at Kilworth House Hotel

These days we tend to only do wedding flowers in the local Kettering area but with Kilnworth House being such a stunning wedding venue we just coulnd't resist when Chloe and Antonio asked us to be their wedding florist. If you've been to Kilworth House Hotel you'll know it's a glorious Grade II listed Italianate country house, the perfect setting for a romantic wedding.

We first met with Chloe and Antonio back in summer 2017, when the newly engaged couple approached Magnolia the Florist for ideas for their wedding flowers. With the dream of a romantic day and the venue being so grand it was important the bridal and venue flowers made an impact too.

For the brides bouquet, we suggested using a mix of Cupcake Roses and Keano Roses to add shades of soft pastel pinks. Our couple asked if we could incorporate grey foliage, so we used Senecio for its beautiful shimmering leaves and sweet scented Eucalyptus to create soft silver shades to compliment the pink rose tones. For the finishing touch our florists used crystal heart pins to add an extra layer of romance to the bouquet.

For the venue, we wanted to ensure the flowers complimented the stunning historical Kilworth House whilst still adding a personal touch for the couple. To create height and colour, our wedding florists designed stunning floral displays of white delphinium and pink gladioli.

Garlands to add a touch of whimsical beauty outside were hand crafted by our florists using pink gypsophila and soft ruscus. Carefully wrapped round outdoor columns to beautifully compliment the surroundings.
